3rd Birthday - Trains, Planes and Monsters

Tavin is almost 5, FIVE! Can you believe it!?  I was thinking about birthday ideas for this year and I just realized I've never posted his 3rd birthday cake... So here it is.. a mashup of everything he loved at the time.. Books, planes, trains, monsters and the only foods he ever wanted to eat were eggs, french toast and waffles. (Pretty safe to say he actually ate his birthday dinner.)
P.S. I don't remember what we had going on the morning of the party, but I made this cake in less than two hours (not including baking), and finished it just as guests started arriving! Phew! Talk about stress, I NEVER want to make a cake that fast again haha!

Super Hero cake - Feeling grateful

Feeling so grateful today for all of the amazing people in my life! Like this amazing mommy who always lets me loose on the design for her boys' birthdays! So fun when people trust your style enough to let you do what you want!

Pokemon Fishing Groom's Cake

This Groom's cake was so much fun to make! (Yes it's ALL SUGAR!) This cute Bride contacted me and wanted to make something special to surprise her soon-to-be hubby with. So we combined a few of his favorite things, Pokemon Fishing & Minecraft. She even had me sneak it in and place it next to their wedding cake during the reception to surprise him. I love my brides :)
